Dates and Deadlines for the PPAT Assessment

Each of the four tasks is due by 2 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on the date indicated. You can submit your task prior to the deadline.

• You’ll need to submit all tasks and artifacts within the same submission window.
• After you submit Task 1, you’ll be able to access the remaining tasks. You’ll need to submit Tasks 2 and 3 before you can submit Task 4.
• If you miss the Task 1 submission deadline, your registration will be canceled, and you’ll need to register again for a future submission window.
• If you miss the Task 2, 3 or 4 deadline, you’ll receive a score of 0 for the task(s) not submitted.

You won’t be eligible for fee refunds if you miss any deadlines.

If you miss the registration deadline, you may still be able to register for the assessment over the phone with our contact center. There is an added fee for this service.

If you can’t submit your tasks by the deadline, you can purchase an extension for a fee of $50 per task. To pay for this late submission service, call ETS Customer Service no later than 6 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on the date indicated.

The extension deadline to submit tasks is 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on the date indicated. There are no additional extensions after that deadline and no refunds if you register for an extension and fail to submit tasks.

If you didn’t receive a passing score for the assessment, you’re eligible to register to resubmit responses to Tasks 2, 3 and/or 4. See Resubmitting Your Tasks.

During system maintenance downtimes, you won’t be able to access the registration and task submission system. The outage time frame will be posted on your account before the outage. Be sure to plan your work accordingly.
