Abstract
This paper introduces documentation for the software package SQE (Subscore Quality Evaluation). This package, which includes SAS macro functions and a FORTRAN program, is designed to produce subscores based on the methods of Haberman (2008) and Wainer et al. (2001). An example illustrates use of this software package with different types of input files.
