James (Jimmy) V. Bruno is an associate research engineer in the Research & Development division at ETS. He received a B.A. from Temple University in linguistics and Spanish and an M.A. from Rutgers University in linguistics. He is currently working on an M.S. in computational linguistics at the University of Washington. At Rutgers, he taught courses in linguistics and the structure of the Spanish language while he carried out research in linguistic theory. At ETS, he supports the labs as a member of the Natural Language Processing Architecture team in work related to the Rater Feature Services infrastructure and other projects.
