Go to Canada
As an international student intending to study in Canada, you’re required to have a study permit. In order to apply for one, you need to take an English-proficiency test and be accepted by a Canadian college or university — you’ll need to provide the letter of acceptance with your application.
Students who are legal residents of Antigua and Barbuda; Brazil; China; Colombia; Costa Rica; India; Morocco; Pakistan; Peru; Philippines; Senegal; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; Trinidad and Tobago; or Vietnam are eligible for the Student Direct Stream (SDS), a faster process to get your study permit.
You can find out more information and apply for your study permit and visa on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.
