Jiyun Zu is a senior psychometrician at ETS. She received a Ph.D. and an M.A. in quantitative psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in psychology from Peking University. During her doctoral studies, she focused on dynamic factor models and robust procedures for mediation analysis. Since she joined ETS in the fall of 2009, she has worked as a psychometrician for the Texas Educator Certification, Praxis®, TOEFL iBT®, TOEFL Junior®, and TOEFL Primary® programs, as well as the fast-forward team Falcon. Recently, she joined the Language Learning Teaching and Assessment lab at ETS. Her research interest includes test equating, item response theory for situational judgment tests, and developing tools and capabilities for automated content generation and assembly.
