Chunyi Ruan is a principal research data analyst in the Research & Development division at ETS. She has worked on automated scoring system and research-based analysis since 2014. Her work focuses on e-rater® modeling and evaluation, process data analysis, and remote testing security. Before 2014, she worked as a statistical analyst for the Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) and the College Level Examination Program® (CLEP®) examinations for seven years. She has had five publications after joining ETS.
She earned a bachelor’s and a master’s in engineering mechanics from Tstinghua University, China in 2001 and 2004. She also earned a master’s in statistics from Rutgers University in 2007.
