Tim Davey has been a research director at ETS since joining the organization in 2000. He had previously spent 13 years in a variety of roles at ACT in Iowa City, Iowa. He was granted an M.S. in statistics and a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from the University of Illinois (Urbana) in 1987. His primary interests in recent years include computerized and adaptive testing, improving the statistical analysis procedures used to support operational testing programs, and the design and implementation of new testing programs. He serves as an associate editor of the ETS Research Report series and as a reviewer for a variety of measurement journals.
