Amit Sevak

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of ETS, Amit Sevak leads the largest private educational assessment organization in the world, with 2500 employees across 200 countries serving over 50 million people each year.

Amit has been a driving force in education, learning and workforce development around the globe. He has led the University of Europe in Madrid in Spain, INTI International University in Malaysia and Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) in Mexico.  His transformational style of leadership consistently led to innovation, better learning and improved job prospects for hundreds of thousands of students and workers.

Amit has long been a coach for edtech CEOs. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including Cambiar Education, CitiBridge and Education Design Lab. In 2017, he founded Mindset Global, an education investment firm. His early career included roles as a researcher, professor and advisor.

Dennis Stetzel

Senior Vice President, Production and Delivery

As the Senior Vice President of Global Operations, Dennis is responsible for the overall Production & Delivery, Psychometric Analytics and Assessment Development as well as Customer Care. 

Before joining ETS, Dennis served as the Vice President of Shared Services Delivery Excellence at Pearson Education and previous to that spent 16 years at IBM as a Global Project Delivery and Transformation Executive. Dennis was responsible for delivering challenging transformation programs at some of IBM’s largest global clients to include Lucent Technologies, American Express, The Walt Disney Company, CenturyLink, CEMEX, and WPP.

Ida Jackson Woods

Chief Diversity Officer

As AVP and Chief Diversity Officer, Ida Jackson Woods provides leadership for the vision, direction, implementation and evaluation of strategic efforts aimed toward advancing an organizational culture of equity and belonging at ETS. Her role is focused on embedding equity, inclusion and diversity across the enterprise to enhance employees’ sense of community and belonging.

Before joining ETS, Ida was a Director in Human Resources for The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she was responsible for organizational learning and professional development, labor and employee relations, performance management and related HR workplace issues. Prior to her role with TCNJ, Woods was a Court Executive EEO/AA Officer with the Judiciary’s Superior Court of New Jersey.

Janet Garcia

CEO, PSI

As CEO of PSI, the largest subsidiary of ETS, Janet Garcia spearheads the efforts to empower over 22 million individuals worldwide in achieving vital credentials. Janet brings her expertise in licensure and certification of skills to help enable ETS to more fully serve the work force sector.

Based in London, Janet’s career has included leadership roles across the learning and edtech sectors including a track record of success at the helm of organizations such as Hobsons, Skillsoft, Imparta, and Intuition. Renowned for her authentic leadership style, Janet has cultivated high-performing teams that consistently deliver exceptional results for both public and private equity-owned corporations. Her strategic vision and commitment to excellence have earned her a reputation as a trusted leader in the industry. Janet's expertise extends beyond the boardroom, as she is highly sought-after as a thought leader and industry expert in the assessment field. Frequently invited to speak at conferences, contribute to podcasts and blogs, and serve as a judge for prestigious global e-assessment and learning technology awards, Janet continues to make a significant impact on the industry at large. Her contributions not only shape the future of assessment but also inspire and empower professionals worldwide.

Jeffrey Melnick

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jeff Melnick is the financial leader for the ETS enterprise. He is responsible for maintaining ETS's financial health and for positioning the company to grow and diversify.

Prior to joining ETS in 2022, Jeff served as CFO of EisnerAmper where he grew revenue and profits, and led a large international finance department. He also served as the Divisional CFO for several different business units at Marsh & McLennan, CFO for Solow Realty & Development, and Vice President at General Electric® Real Estate and GE Equity. Jeff began his career at Ernst & Young in audit and tax practices where he led tax engagements. Melnick has experience in partnership accounting, implementing technology and data systems, and has led M&A transactions and integrations.

Kadriye Ercikan

Vice President, Research
President and CEO, ETS Canada, Inc.

Dr. Kadriye Ercikan is responsible for ETS’s foundational and innovation research and ETS’s contracts for the National Assessment of Educational Progress, Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), Programme for International Assessment for Adult Competencies and several contracts with governments around the world. Her research focuses on sociocultural context of assessment and validity and fairness issues in innovative digital assessments including using response process data, AI applications, and adaptivity.

Prior to joining ETS, Dr. Ercikan was a Professor of measurement, evaluation and research methodology at the University of British Columbia, Canada and is now Professor Emerita.  Dr. Ercikan is a Fellow of the International Academy of Education, President Elect of the International Academy of Education, and President of the International Test Commission.  Her research has resulted in six books, four special issues of refereed journals and over 100 publications. She was awarded the AERA Division D Significant Contributions to Educational Measurement and Research Methodology recognition for the co-edited volume, Generalizing from Educational Research: Beyond Qualitative and Quantitative Polarization, and received an Early Career Award from the University of British Columbia. Kadriye is currently serving as the NCME Book Series Editor (2021-2026).

Michelle Froah

Global Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer

As Global Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer (CMO), Michelle Froah is responsible for building the ETS brand, marketing and innovation globally across enterprise functions, product innovation, business marketing and community engagement. Michelle leverages her extensive experience in building brands and driving growth across industries.

Prior to joining ETS in 2023, Michelle served as Senior Vice President of Global Brand & Marketing at MetLife and previous to that led marketing, sales and operations functions across the globe for Samsung Electronics America, Kimberly-Clark, and Procter & Gamble.

Michelle contributes to the industry by serving on The Marketing Society board as Co-Chair and Fellow, Brand Innovators Advisory Board, ANA CMO Growth Council and Rye Art Center board.

Paul Gollash

Senior Vice President of K-16

As Senior Vice President of K-16 at ETS, Paul Gollash brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur, executive and investor to lead teams to expand and operationalize the organization’s global K-12 and higher education business, including Praxis and GRE. Prior to joining ETS in 2022, he served as the Founder/CEO of Voxy, a leading online English learning platform that provides personalized language instruction to corporations, schools and governments worldwide. Early in his career, Paul was an investor for Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, where he conceived, incubated, and launched Virgin Hotels, which was named the #1 Hotel in the U.S. by Condé Naste in 2016. He has also held business and management roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, General Motors Europe, and helped start an import/export business in Santiago, Chile. His experience living and working abroad led to his lifelong passion for travel, language, education and globalization.

Rohit Sharma

Senior Vice President, Global Mobility Solutions

As Senior Vice President of Global Mobility Solutions, Rohit Sharma oversees business units that enable both international mobility through products including the TOEFL® and GRE® as well as economic and career mobility through products like the TOEIC®. The TOEFL iBT® assesses English language proficiency for academic and immigration purposes and is accepted by more than 13,000 higher education institutions in over 160 countries. The TOEIC program is the global leader in assessing English communication skills for the workplace and everyday life and is used by more than 15,000 organizations across more than 200 countries.  Additionally, Rohit is also responsible for overseeing ETS’s international subsidiaries outside the US that serve to promote ETS’s products and services globally.

Prior to joining ETS in 2022, Rohit has held senior leadership roles across higher education, training, certification and workforce development sectors, with over two decades of international experience covering more than 25 countries and jurisdictions. Rohit was previously president and managing director of ACAMS (a wholly owned subsidiary of Adtalem Global Education) and CEO of INTI Education Group. He also served as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.

Rukshana Mazagonwalla

Vice President, Human Resources

As Vice President, Human Resources, Rukshana Mazagonwalla leads all workforce facets for ETS including talent acquisition, people practices, talent management and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Rukshana designs and implements our global people strategies, ensuring they align with our comprehensive growth goals and enabling us to recruit, develop and retain immeasurable talent.

She possesses diverse experience in human resources in a multitude of business lifecycles and sectors, along with an unparalleled track record of success in leading complex organizational transformations. Prior to joining ETS, she held various human resources leadership roles with MetLife® and American International Group (AIG®).

Scott Nelson

Senior Vice President, Global Strategy & Growth

As Senior Vice President, Global Strategy & Growth, Scott Nelson leads operational functions of the ETS Assessment Services (EAS) division, including government relations and assessment service-related contracts across the globe. Scott designs and implements global growth strategies that enable ETS to offer tech-first services to clients and governing bodies around the world.

Prior to ETS, he held leadership positions in communications, public affairs and marketing at DuPont and was responsible for the company’s public-policy effort to support education reform. Scott is a board member of Junior Achievement® of New Jersey, past Chair of the Board of United Way® of Greater Mercer County, and a previous board member of Jobs for America’s Graduates.

Steve Santana

Chief Information Officer

Steve Santana is the Chief Information Officer at ETS. In this role, he leverages his extensive IT and product development experience to drive the development of digital products that enhance ETS’s offerings and, ultimately, learners’ experiences. With educational assessments increasingly offered in a digital format to expand access, Steve’s leadership in user experience and cloud native development keeps ETS at the forefront of technological innovation in a transforming education industry.

Prior to joining ETS in 2021, Steve served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Pearson, and held positions at Ciena®, Nortel™ and Apple®.
